I’m standing on the sidelines with my camera in hand. All around me, setup crew members are putting up the last barriers, a soundcheck echoes across the square, and someone is straightening a banner. In a few hours, hundreds of guests will be standing here. And even before the first visitor arrives, I’m already capturing what no one will see later: the calm before the chaos, the team’s focus, the details that have been refined over weeks.
It is precisely at this moment that what I want to write about here begins for me. Because an event doesn’t end when the last guest drives home and the lights go out. Often, that’s when it really begins - as content that has an impact far beyond the day of the event.
